- Advise the President on training bachelors in foreign languages for in – service, international joint training programs, training in economics subjects, and short courses on fostering foreign language pedagogical skills, foreign languages and Vietnamese.
- Organize and manage bachelor’s degree programs in foreign languages for in – service, international joint training, training in economics subjects, and short courses on fostering foreign language pedagogical skills, foreign languages and Vietnamese for foreigners.
- Connect and serve the community, cooperate, link organizations, manage training bachelor’s degree programs for in – service, international joint training, short courses on fostering foreign language pedagogical skills, foreign language and Vietnamese language.
- Organize and manage in – service training programs for bachelors of foreign languages, bachelors of foreign language pedagogy;
- Organize and coordinate to organize activities to connect and serve the community, cooperate in organizing, managing foreign language training programs and fostering foreign language for social services;
- Liaise with other units in organizing, coordinating to organize and manage activities of the Project “Teaching and learning foreign languages in the national education system for the period 2017-2025” (Project 2080); Project “National program on foreign language learning for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the period of 2019-2030 (Project 1659) and other relevant projects of the government, ministries, sectors and localities according to assignment of the President;
- Organize and coordinate to organize activities of knowledge transfer and development cooperation under the model of “Academia-Industry”, “Government-Industry-University”. Cooperate with domestic and foreign agencies, localities and organizations to organize foreign language training and fostering according to current regulations;
- Organize and coordinate to organize training courses in Economics for students of the University;
- Organize and manage training programs for fostering and granting certificates of foreign language pedagogy;
- Coordinate with units in the University to develop training and retraining programs; compiling curricula, documents and organizing implementation;
- Organize and manage international joint training programs at university level, fostering programs basing on the needs of international students according to current regulations;
- Manage and organize tests, examinations and assessments to grant certificates of Vietnamese language ability to foreigners according to current regulations;
- Liaise with other units to organize short-term courses at foreign educational institutions for students of the University and interested Vietnamese people;
- Coordinate with the Cooperation and Development Office to welcome and manage international lecturers and students working and studying at the University in accordance with current regulations;
- The Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Language Education & Professional Development is entitled to sign a number of documents as authorized by the President;
- Perform other duties assigned by the President.
- Successfully organized international partnership courses, in-service courses and many fostering foreign language courses.
- Developed a number of international partnership programs with many famous universities in the US, China, etc.
- Developed Vietnamese language programs for foreign students.
