Seminar on “Orientation for development of international studies at ULIS, VNU”
On May 25th, 2021, ULIS-VNU held a seminar to discuss the matter “Orientation for the development of international studies at ULIS, VNU”.
The seminar is part of the University’s development plan for the period 2021-2025, in order to create a forum for its staff and lecturers to meet and discuss teaching and international research in the current period.
Delivering her speech at the seminar, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh said that the seminar was organized to meet the development needs in training, research and student support of the University. The seminar is the first step in tightening interfaculty connections in international studies as well as other fields.
At the seminar Dr. Phung Ha Thanh, Head of the Interfaith International Studies Group shared current activities of the group and suggested activities for the group’s future.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Culture of English-Speaking Countries presented the plan to open the Transnational Culture and Communication Training Program, one of the new modules that the University is designing.
Also, at the seminar, the participants were provided with 3 reports in related fields.
The seminar “Orientation for the development of international studies at ULIS – VNU” had the participation of more than 80 lecturers and staff of members.
