On March 6th, 2018, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Tokushin Group held a signing ceremony of joint cooperation agreement.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s President, Assoc Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy – ULIS’s Vice-President, Dr. Do Minh Hoang – Director of Cooperation and Development Office, M.A. Vu Van Hai and M.A. Nguyen Huyen Trang – Director and Deputy Director of Political & Students Affairs Office. From partner side, Mr. Kobayashi Yuji – President of Tokushin Group, Mr. Norihito Ninomiya – Director of Tokushin Group and Ms. Hoang Thi Van Anh – Vice Director of Tokushin Vietnam took part in the ceremony.

At the working session, Mr. Kobayashi Yuji introduced that Tokushin Vietnam was a member of Tokushin Group, a Japanese corporation specializing in construction. The company, currently, wants to recruit robotic engineers, designers and Japanese-Vietnamese interpreters for both Japanese headquarter and Vietnamese branch. With the desire to develop Vietnam-Japan business relationship by introducing professional personnel, the company will proceed “Tokushin +50” project in 2018, which, through the relationship of Tokushin with Japanese partners, will facilitate foreign engineers and interpreters to work in Japan. It is known that ULIS is one of the leading foreign language training schools in Vietnam, the Board of Directors of Tokushin Group takes keen interest in this cooperation and expects the signing ceremony to become the important first step for more cooperation activities in the future.

President Minh extended his sincere thanks to Tokushin Group for its attempt and goodwill in building and promoting the partnership with the university. He also spoke highly of the company’s development potential in Vietnam, and expressed great expectation for the cooperative relation with the company.


At the ceremony, under the mutual agreement of the two sides, a memorandum of understanding was signed to cover cooperation on employment and internship. The agreement is valid for a 5 year term with a renewal provision. In addition, the representatives of both sides discussed the implementation of upcoming cooperative activities as soon as possible, particularly the forthcoming F.I.R.E 2 festival.

The signing ceremony between ULIS and Tokushin Group successfully ended and would surely act as premises for a long-lasting relationship and potential partnership between the two sides.
