On November 9^th, 2019, ULIS – VNU successfully held a briefing of January 2019, hosted by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s President.

The briefing was attended by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong – ULIS’s Vice Presidents; Chairman of ULIS’s Trade Union; Directors of offices; Directors of centers; FLSS’s President; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh handed over the decision on human resources whereby MSc. Mai Van Hoa – Deputy Head of the Cooperation & Development Office who had completed the 10-year period according to VNU regulations in officials’ position. Accordingly, MSc. Mai Van Hoa will terminate her current position and move on to other professional jobs.

Activities of the University in the past month

Organization of the first semester exam for the University’s students; organization of the 1^st mock entrance exam into grade 10 of FLSS in 2019; implementing the process of establishing a number of new Centers and Departments; organization of welcoming and supporting the evaluation team of AUN; organization of internship support for students of the QH.2015 intake; organization of activities to celebrate the New Year for foreign experts working at the University, etc.

President Do Tuan Minh also directed departments to prepare well for all the missions in January 2019.
