University of Languages and International Studies inaugurated the Center for Resources Development
On the 14th of February 2017, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) held the ceremony to introduce Center for Resources Development.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s President, Dr. Pham Van Ngoc – ULIS’s Vice-President, Assoc. Prof. Ngo Minh Thuy – ULIS’s Vice-President, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long – ULIS’s Vice-President, others Deans and Vice-Deans from departments of the university.
Assoc. Prof. Trinh Duc Thai began the ceremony by reading Decision of referring staff Nguyen Thu Ha, Nguyen Thi Huong and Nguyen Thi Thanh Van to the Resources Development Center. Before that, MA. Nguyen Van Son had been appointed to be the Director of Center for Resources Development.
During the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh stated that the foundation of Center for Resources Development was essential to the University’s general developing strategy. The Center will be focal advisory, advising the Board of Management to exploit and use effectively the school’s resources, as well as carry out the tasks assigned by the President to optimize all resources to maintain, uphold, and upgrade facilities. The President also revealed that the university would facilitate the Center to achieve the best working efficiency.
After that, Director of Center for Resources Development – MA. Nguyen Van Son expressed his appreciation toward Board of Management for their trust and support. Despite being a newly founded unit, all of the Center’s members would try their best to carry out its function and mission and contributed to the general development of the School.
Closing the ceremony was the launch of signboard of the Resources Development Center and photograph taking.
Center for Resources Development was established based on Decision No. 2326 / QD-HAU dated 26/12/2016 signed by the President of the University of Foreign Languages – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Legal Position: Center for Resources Development is the functional unit directly at the University of Foreign Languages – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) with the Decision of establishing signed by ULIS’s President, and was organized and operated following the regulations of the university.
Function: To advise the President on the administration of university asset exploitation.
1.Becoming focal advisory for President in facilities exploitation after putting the infrastructure system into operation; implementing the political tasks of the university in order to optimize the usage of assets; increasing business revenues and reinvest additional resources for infrastructure.
2. Directly receiving allotment and exploiting facilities systems, contributing additional revenue for the school.
3. Implementing other tasks assigned by the President.
