On April 7^th, 2023, a career orientation program on banking was held for students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture and students of King Sejong Academy Hanoi 2. The speaker of the event is Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy – the Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department of the Northern area of Shinhan Bank Vietnam. She is also an alumnus of the Faculty and has 17 years of experience in the banking industry.

During the program, the speaker emphasized that in the current era of globalization, holding good foreign language skills was a huge advantage. With a foreign language background, students could pursue many different careers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy also shared about the necessary equipment to work in the banking industry, introduced about Shinhan Bank Vietnam with career opportunities, scholarships for ULIS students.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Vice Dean of Faculty of Korean Language and Culture Nguyen Thuy Duong extended her thanks to the speakers for accepting the invitation to participate in the program. This career orientation and exchange session certainly brought much useful knowledge and especially broadened career opportunities for the Faculty’s students, especially those who are interested in the banking industry.
