On May 17, 2026, the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) cooperated with APEC Innovation to organize the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the APEC Innovation competition Season II at the 1st floor hall of ULIS Sunwah and Nguyen Van Dao Hall.

After months of launching and spreading the spirit of innovation, the APEC Innovation competition Season II officially concluded with outstanding milestones achieved from hundreds of startup ideas proposed by students nationwide. Launched in May 2025, this year’s season attracted 468 competition entries from various provinces and cities, demonstrating the growing attraction of this creative playground for the youth.

Through exciting competition rounds, many projects left a strong impression due to their practical applicability, humanistic values, and innovative thinking in solving community problems. At the conclusion of the Final Round, the Organizing Committee presented the First Prizes to the following outstanding projects:

• DotRead E-Braille: Refreshable Braille e-book device for the visually impaired
• Glucoscent – Early detection from silent signals
• BanaFoam – Bio-foam from banana pseudo-stems
• V-Hand 2.0: Smart sign language translation glove supporting the hearing impaired
• Eco-thermo Shield – Bio-based fire retardant coating

The winning projects are not only the fruits of the teams’ rigorous research, creativity, and relentless efforts, but also reflect the commitment, aspirations, and desires of the younger generation to create positive values for society.

The Final Round and Award Ceremony of APEC Innovation Season II concluded in an exciting and inspiring atmosphere, continuing to affirm the competition’s role as a meaningful playground that fosters entrepreneurship and innovative spirit within the Vietnamese student community.
