On December 8^th, 2018, the East Asia Cooperation Center of the Development & Cooperation Office, ULIS-VNU, in cooperation with the Asian Studies Institute (Saga University, Japan) and the One Asia Foundation (Japan) organized the 2nd International seminar on “Integration in East Asia: Current Situation and issues”.

Attending the seminar were President Do Tuan Minh, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, leaders of units, lecturers, students, and especially a lot of scholars and researchers from France, Japan, Korea, China, and Vietnam.

Delivering his opening speech, President Do Tuan Minh believed that the seminar would provide a great number of new perspectives, contributing to the integration process in East Asia in particular and Asia in general, for a peaceful and prosperous Asia.

Also, at the seminar, delegates and experts made honest and sincere statements about the future of the Asian community and affirmed their support for the seminars in the future.

In the presentation session, there were 4 presentations on different spheres presented followed by the discussion session with a lot of related issues.

At the end of the seminar, students with outstanding results in the module ‘Understanding the Asian Communities’ in 2018 were awarded with scholarships.
