On December 2^nd, 2019, ULIS – VNU held a meeting with the delegation of the Northeastern Federal University (Russia) led by Mr. Vladlen Kugunurov, the Vice President in charge of International Relations. Representatives of the Faculty of Russian Language & Culture and the Cooperation & Development Office also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy hoped that the Russian universities would create favorable conditions to further develop Russian teaching and training at ULIS as well as facilitate the opportunity to experience and study in Russia for ULIS students.

Mr. Vladlen Kugunurov said that the Northeastern Federal University always welcomed Vietnamese students to study there and hoped that students from the Northeastern Federal University could come to Vietnam to experience and explore the Asian culture and people in near future. 

In addition, representatives of the two universities had specific discussions on cooperative activities in areas such as exchanging students, organizing short-term courses, etc.
