On September 8^th, 2023, ULIS-VNU coordinated with Lai Chau Provincial Police to organize the Opening Ceremony of the in-service course in English Language for 56 students who were provincial police officers.

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony, President Nguyen Xuan Long extended his congratulations to 56 students of the course.

Correspondingly, Colonel Nguyen Viet Giang, Director of Lai Chau Provincial Police Department emphasized the role and necessity of this course, and he wished ULIS would coordinate closely with the provincial police department to open more foreign language training classes for police officers of the province.

On this occasion, the Director of Lai Chau Provincial Police Department presented a Certificate of Merit to the Faculty of Language Education & Professional Development for its outstanding achievements in training police officers of the province.
