The First Tour Guide Skills Competition for Students

On January 11, 2025, ULIS – VNU, Hanoi, held the first-ever Tour Guide Skills Competition for Students under the theme “Hanoi in My Heart.” The event attracted a large number of students, pupils, and teachers.

The event was attended by Vice Principal Ha Le Kim Anh, representatives of the university’s leadership, the judging panel, contestants, and a large audience of interested participants.

In her opening speech, Vice Principal Ha Le Kim Anh emphasized the importance of honing tour guide skills for students at the University of Languages and International Studies. 

The Tour Guide Skills Competition for Students was not only a playground but also a journey of discovery, connection, and inspiration. It served as a platform for students who were passionate about tourism to bring vibrant stories to life through their own words. In this inaugural season, the organizing committee received nearly 200 applications from ULIS students.

In the presentation round, 10 individuals and teams participated with their introductions to various attractions, including: the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Van Phuc Silk Village, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, Hoa Lo Prison, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and Duong Lam Ancient Village. In the end, the judges selected the winners of the awards.
