Earlier this month, a delegation of ULIS-VNU, including Dr. Huynh Anh Tuan, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, a graduate student completed successfully their mission at the 5^th Inter-Academic Conference (IAC) held from December 3^rd to 5^th, 2018 in Shizuoka, Japan.

The conference aims to improve the capacity of young researchers and strengthen international cooperations.

On December 3rd, Dr. Huynh Anh Tuan gave a presentation on training activities, research, and internationalization of the Faculty.

In the next meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung presented a presentation on the gender discrimination via pictures in her new English textbook. The presentation drew a lot of attention from the audience.

Also within the framework of the mission, the delegation had the opportunity to visit and work with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and the International Cooperation Office of Shizuoka University. The meeting opened up the prospects for deepening the relationship between ULIS and the two universities.
