ULIS Participated in the Vietnam–China People Friendship Festival

On  April 15, 2025, a delegation from the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS), led by Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong, took part in the Vietnam–China People Friendship Festival at the International Conference Center in Hanoi.

The event held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China and to coincide with the visit of Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, brought together top leaders of both nations. In his opening remarks, General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed President Xi Jinping and other distinguished guests from Vietnam and China.

As part of the programme, the two sides jointly inaugurated the “Red Journey” initiative—an educational and research exchange for the youth of both countries. Following this, General Secretary To Lam and President Xi Jinping officially launched the Vietnam–China Railway Cooperation Project, underscoring their commitment to deepening bilateral infrastructure ties.

During the cultural exchange session, Bui Phuong Linh, a student from the Ulis Middle School, represented young people nationwide in performing the ceremonial launch of the “Red Journey” alongside the heads of state.
