On December 22^nd – 23^rd, 2023, ULIS-VNU organized the international conference “Language and Social Interaction in Asian Contexts”, this was part of the series of events of UNC2024. The conference was a forum for scholars and researchers to exchange and share experiences in using conversational language to research language learning in Asian contexts.

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony, Vice President Lam Quang Dong hoped that through this conference, the University and other universities could discuss and give contributions and opinions on many aspects and topics of linguistics.

The conference included 02 plenary session reports, 13 papers in 03 parallel subcommittees, discussion sessions and 1 workshop.
