On July 6, 2026, the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), officially inaugurated the fifth edition of the “ULIS Success - Your Journey Toward the Future” University Experience Program through an online opening ceremony held via Zoom.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Ha Le Kim Anh; representatives of the University's administrative and academic units; members of the Undergraduate Admissions Communications Committee; lecturers participating in the program; student ambassadors and teaching assistants; together with more than 1,000 participants enrolled in the course.
Building on the success of its previous four editions, ULIS continues to expand learning opportunities for Grade 12 students across Vietnam through this entirely free-of-charge and highly practical program. Designed for students who have recently completed the National High School Graduation Examination and intend to apply for admission to ULIS, the program offers participants an authentic university learning experience while equipping them with the mindset, knowledge, and essential skills needed for their future academic journey.
The online curriculum consists of five practical modules: Self-Discovery in the University Environment; Time and Personal Finance Management; Personal Branding; Emotional Intelligence Development; and Mastering the Present, Embracing the Future. In addition, the program features a final project challenge and the "Shining with the ULIS Spirit" competition, providing participants with opportunities to demonstrate their confidence, initiative, creativity, and innovative thinking.

In her opening remarks, Vice Rector Ha Le Kim Anh warmly welcomed all participants to ULIS Success 2026. She expressed her pride and high expectations for this year's cohort, encouraging students to actively engage with the program and make the most of the valuable learning opportunities it offers.

During the ceremony, Nguyen Quynh Hoa, Deputy Head of the Office of Academic Affairs and Learner Development, introduced an overview of the ULIS Success 2026 program, presenting its objectives, learning pathway, curriculum, and participant benefits. She emphasized that the program was designed to accompany students in their personal development while providing them with academic guidance, career orientation, and practical competencies needed to thrive in an evolving educational and professional landscape.

Immediately following the opening ceremony, participants attended the first module entitled “Self-Discovery in the Learning Environment,” delivered by Nguyen Thanh Van, a lecturer from the Faculty of English Language and Culture. Through practical examples and engaging discussions, the session helped students better understand the importance of identifying their aspirations, recognizing areas for improvement, building on their strengths, and setting appropriate academic goals to maximize their potential in university.

Throughout the session, the learning atmosphere remained vibrant and highly interactive. Participants actively asked questions, shared their perspectives, and engaged in discussions, fostering meaningful connections among the organizing committee, lecturers, and students while further promoting the enthusiastic learning spirit of the ULIS Success community.
