On November 11^th, 2022, ULIS – VNU organized the National Finale showdown of the 2022 English Olympiad for English major students under the theme “Vietnamese students: Aspiration and Creativity”.

Delivering her speech at showdown, Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Huu – Head of the National Foreign Language Project Management Board affirmed that the goal of a development on the foreign language community, including English, was one of the top concerns of the National Foreign Language Project. “With the prestige and support that the competition has received for many years, the efforts of the organizing committees, the 2022 English Olympics has really become a meaningful playground, an opportunity for students across the country to hone their professional skills, exchange, learn, inspire and spread the movement of learning English in Vietnam.” She added.

Also at the showdown, Vice President Lam Quang Dong expressed his honor when ULIS was entrusted with the task of organizing the National English Olympiad.

The final night was really bursting with the talent, creativity and English ability of the 5 teams.
