From 24 to 26 June 2026, a delegation from the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS), Vietnam National University, Hanoi, comprising Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuy, Dean of the Faculty of German Language and Culture, and lecturers Nguyen Thi Thien Trang and Nguyen Anh Van, attended a series of activities held as part of the 120th Anniversary Celebration of HTWG Konstanz, Germany.

The activities over the three days were part of the anniversary’s accompanying programme, aiming to strengthen academic exchange and foster connections with international partners. On 24 June, the delegation participated in working sessions, professional discussions and meetings with partners, laying the groundwork for future collaborative activities.

On the second day, the delegation joined a guided tour of the HTWG Konstanz campus and explored the university's modern laboratory facilities. The visit provided the delegation with first-hand insights into the institution’s learning and research environment, as well as its development orientations.

The delegation then enjoyed a special experience aboard a research boat travelling along the Rhine River, taking in the area’s distinctive natural landscapes and visiting the city of Konstanz. A highlight of the day was an informal lunch attended by international partners from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The gathering was considered a valuable opportunity to expand a multilateral international cooperation network and foster future academic initiatives.

On the final day, the delegation attended the 120th Anniversary Celebration of HTWG Konstanz at the Bodenseeforum Konstanz Conference Centre, the official event bringing together a large number of scholars and international partners.

On the sidelines of the programme, the delegation also met with, visited, and encouraged ULIS students currently studying and participating in exchange programmes at HTWG Konstanz. The meetings provided an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the students'’ academic progress and daily lives in an international environment.

The 120th Anniversary of HTWG Konstanz was not only an occasion to celebrate the university's achievements but also served as a forum for connecting strategic partners from around the world. The participation of the ULIS delegation reaffirmed the increasingly strong partnership between the two institutions while opening up new opportunities for collaboration in education, research, and academic exchange.

The visit left a lasting positive impression, not only in terms of professional and academic engagement, but also through cultural exchange, meaningful interactions, and the spirit of international cooperation.
