On August 29, 2026, 50 youth union members from the University of Languages and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS - VNU) proudly won First Prize in the “Soldier - Road to Glory” program, which was broadcast on VTV3.

The program, held in celebration of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and the 81st National Day of Vietnam, offered young participants an immersive experience of the military environment through a series of knowledge, physical, teamwork, and discipline-based challenges.

Competing across three rounds - Recruitment, New Recruit, and Victory - the ULIS team demonstrated strong teamwork, agility, determination, and discipline. The experience also provided an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the history, traditions, and values of the Vietnam People’s Army.

With their outstanding performance and team spirit, the ULIS youth delegation won First Prize, receiving a prize worth VND 50 million.

Beyond a competition, the program served as a meaningful journey for ULIS students to strengthen their sense of responsibility, national pride, and aspiration to contribute to society.
