On May 20, 2026, the VNU University of Languages and International Studies successfully organized the workshop entitled “From Joint Research to Publication: Experience and Strategies.” The event aimed to provide practical insights into conducting collaborative research and publishing academic work.

The workshop brought together Vice President Lam Quang Dong, guest speaker Professor Kara MacDonald, representatives from the Faculty of English Language and Culture and the Office of Research and Partnerships, along with a large number of postgraduate students, doctoral researchers, and staff members with an interest in academic research. The event provided participants with practical insights into conducting research while also offering valuable guidance on strategies for academic publication

During the workshop, Professor Kara MacDonald introduced participants to various academic publishing platforms and forms of scholarly publication. She also provided valuable information on selecting appropriate research materials and developing the right mindset for conducting scientific research. This session attracted significant attention from attendees, particularly postgraduate students seeking a deeper understanding of the professional research environment.

Beyond knowledge sharing, the workshop also created opportunities for participants to engage in discussions and exchange research ideas. Attendees worked in groups to discuss topics of mutual interest and identify potential collaborators for future research projects. This interactive activity contributed to a dynamic atmosphere and strengthened connections among participants.
