On May 14^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting with VNU National Defense and Security Training Center to discuss the preparation plan to welcome ULIS students to Hoa Lac.

The meeting was attended by President Do Tuan Minh, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Ha Le Kim Anh, Director of the Politics & Student Affairs Office Vu Van Hai, Director of General Administration Office Nguyen Doan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of Youth Union Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh. On the side of VNU National Defense and Security Training Center, President Tran Danh Luc and representatives of departments and lecturers of the Center attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives of the two sides discussed the preparation plan for ULIS students to study defense and security education at Hoa Lac from May 24^th to June 24^th, 2019, which includes the following contents: well prepare for the reception; facilitate students with good security and accommodation; organize a number of activities for students during their stay at Hoa Lac.

Tentatively, 1450 ULIS students of QH.2018 cohort will participate in the defense and security education this summer. Students will be following strict military rules during this time.
