As being assigned by the President to manage and organize the implementation of scientific and technological research of the University, and foster research capacity for the University’s staff, the Science & Technology Office has developed long-term, short-term, annual and spontaneous plans on research activities at all levels. Also, the Office has organized and invested on science and technology projects. Over years, a lot of documents, regulations have been issued to facilitate the management of scientific research and the fostering scientific research capacity task.

Moreover, the Science & Technology Office is responsible for organizing scientific conferences, seminars and workshops at all levels. The Office also has been fostering the application of scientific research and information technology in teaching and learning foreign languages.

Being a prominent part of ULIS science & technology, the journal of Foreign Studies has been published annually with 6 issues each year.
