International Cooperation – Overview

Responsibilities

As the Office is responsible for developing cooperative relations with domestic and international partners, we are tasked with developing and implementing the University’s development & cooperation strategy, including training activities, scientific research, and academic exchanges.

Through collaborative projects, we aim to widen our network and enhance the quality of teaching and learning amongst teachers and students as well as the research quality of our academic staff.

In addition, we coordinate with the University’s Faculties to support foreign specialists and international students in their work, studies, and daily life to make sure they have a great time in Vietnam.

Achievements

We have been coordinating, managing, and implementing the external activities of the University for years. We have established cooperative relations with over 100 partners at home and abroad.

As a unit belongs to the Cooperation and Development Office, Center for East Asia Research and Education Cooperation has successfully organized a lot of international seminars since its establishment such as Human Resources Training in Asia.

We have contributed to the long term goals of the University by holding One Asia Convention with the participation of over 500 international visitors from more than 10 countries.

The University welcomed 40 foreign experts and teachers who coming for short – term and long – term work in 2018. Also, we admitted about 150 international students to study in various programs of the University.

In the future, our Office hope to welcome more and more foreign students coming for different programs such as standard courses at different levels, short-term exchanges, cultural experiences, and especially Vietnamese Language and Culture.
