On May 28^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting to welcome the delegation of Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade, China.

The meeting was attended by Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies Cam Tu Tai, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Language Education & Professional Development Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung. On the side of Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade, Chairman of the Board Mr. Cai Wude and Director of International Education Center of Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau Mr. Lu Rencong attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives of both sides introduced the history, organizational structure, training and research activities of the two universities. After that, the two sides discussed the cooperation in graduate training. Specifically, the representatives of Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade expressed their desire to send their staff to ULIS for PhD study.

Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy affirmed that as a foreign language school, ULIS always wished to receive foreign students, thereby increasing the internationalization of the University. She also proposed the cooperation in exchanging lecturers and supporting teaching activities.
