Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs honors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy, ULIS’s Vice President
On October 11th, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy, President of the Vietnamese Alumni Club in Japan/Vice President of ULIS – VNU was awarded the Certificate of Merit by Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Vice President Thuy is the person who promoted Japanese language education in Vietnam and supported Vietnamese students before, during and after their study in Japan. She also served as President of the Vietnamese Alumni Group in Japan and held many other positions in different assossiations. She has made great contributions to the development of the relationship between Japan and Vietnam.
In recognition of these achievements, at the ceremony on October 11th, Mr. UMEDA Kunio, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam awarded the Certificate of Merit of Japan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to Vice President Thuy.
