Staff and graduate students of Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand to teach at ULIS
On November 25th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting with the mission of Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand.
The meeting was attended by Vice President Lam Quang Dong, Representatives of the Cooperation & Development Office, Management Board and lecturers of the Division of Southeast Asia Linguistics & Cultures. On the side of Srinakharinwirot University, Vice President Prit Supasetsiri, 5 lecturers and 12 graduate students majoring in foreign languages attended the meeting.
Vice President Lam Quang Dong thanked Srinakharinwirot University for the support and scholarship given to ULIS over the years. He also expressed the desire of the University to develop Thai from a second foreign language program into a major in the near future.
Vice President Prit Supasetsiri of Srinakharinwirot University introduced the University to ULIS representatives and expressed that Srinakharinwirot University was ready to accept ULIS students to practice teaching activities at the University and also thanked ULIS for accepting Thai graduate students.
At the meeting, representatives of the two sides also discussed the potential cooperative activities such as organizing seminars, exchanging students, granting scholarships to ULIS students to study in Thailand, etc.
