Closing and Awards Ceremony for two competitions titled “Continuing the 70-Year Story” and “TikTok Dance Challenge – ULIS in Me is…”
On October 30, 2025, the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS-VNU) held the Closing and Awards Ceremony for two competitions titled “Continuing the 70-Year Story” and “TikTok Dance Challenge – ULIS in Me is…”. The ceremony was an occasion for the University to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the two competitions, thereby spreading the spirit of creativity and affection throughout the ULIS community.

The event was attended by Vice President Lam Quang Dong, Deputy Head of the Office of Governance and Compliance Nguyen Tien Dung, along with faculty representatives, students, and award-winning teams.

The two competitions were launched to celebrate the University’s 70th anniversary and to offer generations of ULISers an opportunity to reflect on the institution’s proud journey through meaningful articles, inspiring video clips, and dynamic, creative dances.
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong, Vice President of the University, extended his congratulations to the award-winning teams and individuals. He also acknowledged and commended their creativity and dedication in expressing their love and pride for ULIS.

In the “TikTok Dance Challenge – ULIS in Me is…” competition, the Organizing Committee awarded one First Prize, two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes, and six Consolation Prizes. These awards recognized video entries that showcased the creativity, love, and pride of ULIS students and alumni for their university.




Also at the ceremony, the “Continuing the 70-Year Story” competition announced its outstanding winners, awarding one First Prize, two Second Prizes, four Third Prizes, and nine Consolation Prizes for their impressive entries.




Representatives of the award-winning authors and teams shared their joy, pride, and heartfelt sentiments about participating in these meaningful competitions.


On behalf of the Organizing Committee, M.A. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy Head of the Office of Governance and Compliance, representing the organizing unit, delivered a speech expressing his gratitude and deep appreciation to the faculty members and students who had joined hands to contribute to the success of the two meaningful competitions.

The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo session. The award-winning entries from both competitions have helped spread love and pride for ULIS along its 70 years journey of establishment and development.
