Inauguration and Handover Ceremony of the renovated stadium project, sponsored by the Cau Giay Branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
On October 27, 2025, in a celebratory atmosphere marking the 70th anniversary of its establishment, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) held the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony of the renovated stadium project, sponsored by the Cau Giay Branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

The renovation of the football field is part of the university’s plan to upgrade its facilities, thereby promoting physical education activities and encouraging health training among the university’s staff, lecturers, and students.

Representing the Cau Giay Branch of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) were Mr. Nguyễn Mai Khanh – Branch Director, Mr. Lại Minh Hiếu – Deputy Branch Director, together with representatives from affiliated units.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long expressed his sincere gratitude to BIDV Cau Giay for its meaningful companionship over the years. “The renovation of the stadium is not only a material contribution but also a symbol of BIDV’s strong sense of social responsibility. This venue will serve as a space for ULIS students to enhance their physical well-being, develop teamwork skills, and nurture their passion for sports, thereby contributing to the university’s mission of training high-quality human resources. We hope that BIDV will continue to accompany ULIS in upcoming initiatives.”

On behalf of the sponsor, Mr. Nguyen Mai Khanh emphasized: “BIDV Cau Giay is always ready to accompany educational and community development activities. The sponsorship for the renovation of the ULIS stadium is part of our strategy to support key national universities, contributing to the development of a healthy and dynamic young generation in Vietnam. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the exchange of commemorative gifts, a friendly football match took place between the staff of the University of Languages and International Studies and BIDV Cau Giay. The ceremony concluded in a joyful and spirited atmosphere, promising vibrant sports activities to be held at this very stadium in the near future.

The event not only reaffirmed the strong and long-standing partnership between ULIS and BIDV but also reflected the University’s commitment to investing in its facilities, striving toward a modern and holistic learning environment.
