ULIS Students Actively Participate in the Cau Giay Ward Job Fair 2025

On November 9, 2025, the Cau Giay Ward Job Fair and Career Counseling Day 2025 was organized by the People’s Committee of Cau Giay Ward in coordination with the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs. The event created networking opportunities and assisted numerous businesses in finding and recruiting suitable personnel.

The event featured participation from over 30 businesses and vocational training institutions, with thousands of job positions on offer. These included roles ranging from translators/ interpreters, IT engineers, technical staff, and sales personnel to hotel and restaurant staff, as well as vocational training courses and labor export programs. All of this contributed to a vibrant, substantive, and opportunity-filled “picture” of the labor market.

As a university located within the ward, the University of Languages and International Studies – VNU (ULIS-VNU) had nearly 300 students and University representatives participate in the event. Attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh – Vice President and representatives from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. Their objective was to network, seek job and internship opportunities, and engage with businesses.

At the event, the University’s leadership met and discussed cooperation opportunities with numerous businesses. Meanwhile, the students actively participated in counseling sessions, interviews, and learning about the enterprises. Many final-year students and students from language majors proactively sought recruitment information, submitted their résumés, and interviewed directly at the job booths. This was not only an occasion to find internship and job opportunities, but also a chance for ULIS students to practice their communication and interpersonal skills, while also gaining a better understanding of the current labor market’s demands and trends.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh – Vice President of the University shared that this Job Fair holds practical significance for students in career orientation, helping them gain early real-world exposure and be better prepared for their post-graduation journey. The Vice President also affirmed that the University is always committed to supporting and accompanying students in connecting with businesses and organizations to expand job and internship opportunities and develop professional skills.

The participation of ULIS students in the Cau Giay Ward Job Fair 2025 not only demonstrates their dynamic spirit and proactive integration but also contributes to strengthening the close relationship between the University, local authorities, and recruiting units. This is also a specific activity in the series of career development support programs that the University is implementing. It aims toward the goal of providing training that is closely linked to societal needs and enhancing students’ competitiveness in the labor market.
