On May 6^th, 2019, QH.2018 and QH.2017 students of the Faculty of English Language Teacher Education organized the “CLC Day 2019 – Fear to Freedom” at Vu Dinh Lien amphitheater.

“CLC Day 2019 – Fear to Freedom” is an annual event organized by the first and second year fast-track program students of the Faculty of English Language Teacher Education to create a playground for students to showcase their English ability as well as create opportunities for first year students to directly raise questions on relevant issues to teachers and second year students.

Throughout the event, the students showcased excellent art performances, such as a gig on the “Phantom of the Opera”, an English presentation on the play, and an English poetry contest based on the 2 topics “Fear” and “Freedom”.

In addition, students and teachers participated in a music game together.

At the end of the event, a video clip made by the students was shown to convey many messages such as the benefits of participating in the fast-track program as well as the gratitude of the students to their teachers.

Also, a student presented a handmade gift to Ms. Nguyen Thu Le Hang as an expression of their love to the teachers.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Le Hang expressed, “We are proud of you and you should also be proud of yourself.”
