On April 3^rd, 2019, FLSS students participated in the Hanoi Open Mathematics Competition. This year, the team secured 2 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals.

To attend and secure high awards in HOMC, candidates must not only be good at math and critical thinking skills but also have to own other skills and English proficiency. HOMC is considered to be one of the playgrounds for young math talents to assert themselves, approaching advanced education in the world.

‘The FLSS team participating in the HOMC this year consists of 5 students, who are smart, have good critical thinking and love Math. They had to pass two qualifying examinations at the school with outstanding scores to secure the opportunity to attend HOMC 2019 and bring pride to the school’ said Ms. Hanh Dung, English Math teacher.

This exam not only brings them knowledge, but also helps them meet and interact with friends from different cultures who share a common passion for Mathematics.
