Korean Teachers’ Day and 2024 Korean Speaking Contest final held
On May 15th, 2024, ULIS-VNU celebrate the Korean Teachers’ Day and held the final round of the 2024 Korean Speaking Contest “Korean and My Dream”.
The Korean Teachers’ Day celebration program is an annual event held by the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture to give students the opportunity to express their deep gratitude to their teachers. At the ceremony, students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture paid tribute to all teachers working at the Faculty.
In particular, in the program, QH.2020 students donated 10 million VND to support the Faculty Study Extension Fund. At the same time, the Executive Committee of the Faculty’s Youth Union and Students’ Association also donated 3 million VND to support the fund.
Delivering her speech at the event, on behalf of the teachers, Dr. Tran Thi Huong – Dean of the Faculty extended her thanks to the students.
In the program, many exciting activities took place such as musical performances, keyword singing competition, etc. Notably, the final round of the Korean Speaking Contest “Korean and My Dream” was organized. Eight contestants contributed to disseminating knowledge, arousing and spreading passion for the Korean language.
