On November 10th 2017, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) held the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with the Saitama Institute of Technology.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Do Tuan Minh – President of ULIS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy – Vice President of ULIS, Dr. Bui Dinh Thang – Vice Head of Cooperation and Development Office, Dr. Duong Quynh Hoa – Head of Personnel Organization Office, MA. Vu Tien Thinh – Head of General Administration Office, Dr. Dao Thi Nga My – Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture and the staff. From the Saitama Institute of Technology, Dr. Uchiyama Shunichi – Institute’s President, Ms. Aikawa Rie and Mr. Nishida Masaru – Head and Vice Head of Student Employment Support Center and Institute’s staff.

At the ceremony, on behalf of each side, President Minh and Mr. Uchiyama Shunichi signed the MOU in which two sides come to terms with each other on the cooperation related to such aspects as exchange of students, lecturers and staff; student selection; exchange of academic information and materials; joint research program implementation. The agreement is valid in 5 years from the signing day and includes the automatic renewal provision for the next 5 years with the same content.


In addition, representatives from two sides sincerely expressed the aspiration on possible cooperation activities in the near future.

The signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between the ULIS and the Saitama Institute of Technology closed, marking an important milestone and opening more bilateral collaboration opportunities in the future.
