On January 9^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU organized ULIS Job Fair 2019 with the participation of 34 prestigious businesses and over 4,000 students. According to statistics, roughly 1,000 jobs were registered at the end of the event.

This year, the event took place on the 69th anniversary of the Vietnamese Student’s Day (January 9^th, 1950 – January 9^th, 2019). Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh – Deputy Head of VNU’s Politics & Students Affairs Department, ULIS’s Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, representatives of universities, representatives of recruitment agencies and students of the whole University.

Delivering her remark at the event, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy said that ULIS-VNU was always proud to be a prestigious foreign language training and international research institution in the region. The University also honored to contribute to the development of the country and the region through providing high-quality human resources for a lot of different industries.

The Job Fair is organized annually to help students to approach businesses, and vice versa. Also, all the parties would have better understanding on each other.

In the framework of the Job Fair, other activities also took place such as: signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between ULIS and Entry Company (Japan); conducting recruitment interviews; seminars on necessary skills for future work, etc.

In the meantime, 25 student clubs of ULIS also organize exciting cultural and arts activities to celebrate the Vietnamese Students’ Day.
