Only 20 days since it was launched and widely spread (since August 22nd, 2018), the ULIS Wireless-Wifi has proven its functions and utility in serving the work, research and study of the majority of ULIS’s lecturers and students.

The active involvement in implementing the communication and setting backdrops, which instruct how to log in and use the Wifi system, has been proved to be a good initiative. Therefore, students and lecturers have been increasingly aware of a wireless Wifi network being set in the active mode at ULIS’s campus.

Through this increasing awareness, the Wifi-system use of ULIS’s lecturers and students has become easier. This is shown in the table below.

The data index table represents a surge in the frequency of access to Wifi network after it was widely notified and used (more than 3,000 users in the 24-hour period from September 4th to September 5th, compared with below 1,000 users in mid-August).

As a result, the Wifi network of ULIS has proved its importance and would be regularly upgraded and maintained to provide the best wireless access for the research and learning process of all ULIS’s staff and students.
