On April 2^nd, 2019, the staff and students of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development had a special field trip to Viettel Sports Center. This is a special opportunity for ULIS staff and students to learn about the daily life of football players and at the same time also an opportunity for Viettel trainees to improve their foreign language skills.

The event was also attended by Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh – External Affairs Manager, Mr. Bui Van Quynh – Head of General Department, officers and students of the Center.

During the event, all the participants had the opportunity to learn about the process of formation and development of Viettel Sports Center. Also, they visited the training, living and learning areas of football players including the modern learning building which was voted as one of 12 buildings to win the world architecture award.

After finishing the tour around, ULIS students had a friendly match with the U19 sports team of Viettel Sports. Besides, they also met many national football stars, such as Bui Tien Dung, Nguyen Trong Dai, Nguyen Hoang Duc, etc.

The event happened in a very happy atmosphere. Both parties were excited to participate in the activities and had memorable memories.

Over the past years, ULIS and Viettel have had many cooperative activities. The University is organizing foreign language training for many young players of Viettel.
