On December 23^rd, 2020, ULIS-VNU held a workshop under the topic “Books are a great teacher for everyone”. The workshop is part of the periodical workshop program to develop the reading culture between ULIS students, which is organized by the Center for Information Technology, Communication and Learning Resources.

In particular, the workshop had the presence of Prof. Nguyen Lan Dung – a leading biological researcher in Vietnam.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh believed that all valuable sharing from the famous speaker, Mr. Nguyen Lan Dung, would boost ULIS students’ passion for reading.

During the workshop, teachers and students listened to a valuable talk about the role of books and the value of reading. The speaker reminded ULIS students not only to read specialized books, but also to read books that motivate themselves to dare to think and dare to do, to get better in life.

After the Q&A session with speakers, the Center for Information Technology, Communication and Learning Resources honored students who had had the biggest hours of coming to the library to read books. This is a regular activity aimed at developing the reading culture among students of the University.
