Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

This first quarter of 2021 has gone by. Reflecting these 3 months, ULIS has successfully completed different tasks and organized numerous important events, including effective deployment of student recruitment communication and advisory activities of the University; successful organization of many major events, such as 2020 Year-end Conference, UNC2021 first and second pre-workshops; 4th Congress of ULIS Former Faculty and Staff’s Association, tenure 2020 – 2025; 15th Congress of ULIS Students’ Association, tenure 2020-2023; 1st congress of ULIS Alumni Network, tenure 2021-2026; good implementation of security, order and fire prevention to ensure ULIS officials and lecturers received good care during the 2021 Lunar New Year, etc.

The successful organization of these events is a sign of a promising year for ULIS. In the second quarter of 2021, the University has a number of important tasks which need to be performed well, such as prepare and organize UNC conference 2021; prepare the enrollment work at all levels; organize specialized fostering sessions for teachers and lecturers; continue to renovate, repair and upgrade facilities to prepare for the new academic year.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, we wish all teachers, students and partners good health and enjoyable time with excitement and fun at ULIS.
