On September 5th, 2017, ULIS – VNU opened the Vietnamese Class for foreigners in 2017-2018 school year.

Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son – Dean of Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Hien – Vice Dean of Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development, teachers, specialists and the students of the course attended the opening ceremony.

In the opening ceremony, students were given the information about ULIS, the course and regulations for student management. In addition, students had a chance to introduce themselves and learn the experience in Vietnamese study from students in the previous cohorts.

This course includes 20 students of various ages from many countries in the world such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China. Accordingly, the students of this course will learn Vietnamese and participate in numerous fascinating extra-curricular activities for one year at ULIS.

Addressing in the opening ceremony, Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son extended his welcome to all the students and showed his happiness for their choice to study Vietnamese at ULIS. He hoped that all students of the course would study hard and have memorable moments in Vietnam.
