On April 24^th, 2019, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation under the Korean Lotte Group held the 23rd Lotte Scholarship Ceremony to grant scholarships to 80 students with outstanding academic achievements from VNU and other educational institutions in Hanoi, with a total scholarship value of up to 24,000USD.

5 students of ULIS who received scholarships were Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Ngo Thi Linh, Nguyen Thi Minh Anh, Nguyen Le Hong Duong, Nguyen Thi Thu Tra. Each scholarship is worth 300 USD.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Do Huyn assessed that this event had a different meaning from others by focusing on cultivating talents, contributing to promoting the future development of Vietnam. He believed that the efforts of Lotte Group in particular and Korean businesses in Vietnam in general would provide a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Lim Sung Bok, General Director of Lotte Hotel Hanoi, hoped that these scholarships would be a motivation for students to fulfill their life’s ambitions.
