On December 3^rd, 2019, ULIS – VNU in collaboration with the Foreign Affairs Department – Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security held a closing ceremony of the Vietnamese training course for international police officers in 2019.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Kien Tinh – Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Department – Ministry of Public Security, Colonel Nguyen Hong Thai – Director of Tan Trieu Civil Service Department – Ministry of Public Security and representatives of Embassies of other countries. On the side of ULIS, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long, representatives of departments, teachers and especially 14 students from Laos, Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Major General Kien Tinh – Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Department – Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, congratulated the students on their completion of the course.

On behalf of ULIS, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long expressed his deep gratitude to Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Securityfor entrusting ULIS with the task of fostering Vietnamese for international students. He also acknowledged the students’ efforts and hoped that they would continue to improve their Vietnamese language when returning home to act as bridges among countries.

Major General Kien Tinh and Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long also presented certificates of completion of the course and souvenirs to the students.
