Briefing in April 2019 held

On April 8th, 2019, ULIS – VNU held a briefing in April 2019 chaired by President Do Tuan Minh.

Together with the President were Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, Vice President Lam Quang Dong, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long, Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, Directors of offices and centers, FLSS Principal, Deans of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and The Faculty of Language Education & Profesional Development.

At the beginning of the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh presented rewarding decisions to the Project Development Board for the Establishment of Foreign Language Secondary School; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Teacher of FLSS for successfully fostering students to secure excellent results in the IT world champion contest; Mai Bang Linh, Grade 10A1 student for securing outstanding achievements in the contest.

Delivering his speech at the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh said, ‘these extraordinary rewards have proven the timely recognition for those who achieve outstanding results.”

In addition, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of all departments for the good implementation of the tasks in March, and hoped that the departments would continue the efforts to complete the targets and tasks in April.

What has been done well in March?

Collected survey of graduate students; organized 2 livestream sessions on the 2019 undergraduate admission and the Project on practice, internship, and development of supplementary skills; approved of graduation for 51 students; organized the first phase of specialist assessment; organized F.I.R.E; organized ULIS Connection Day on the occasion of March 8th with the participation of 625 lecturers and staff.

What needs to be implemented in April?

Organize the 2019 national scientific conference, organize Book Review contest, focus more on online communication activities to promote 2019 undergraduate admission, well implement the fire safety on campus.
