On April 8^th, 2019, ULIS – VNU held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with Kwangwoon University (Republic of Korea).

The ceremony was attended by President Do Tuan Minh, Director of the Cooperation & Development Office Do Minh Hoang, Management Board and staff of the Faculty of Korean Language & Culture, and Kwangwoon University delegation led by President Jisang Yoo.

At the ceremony, the presidents of the two universities signed the official memorandum of understanding.  According to the agreement, ULIS and Kwangwoon University would cooperate in such areas as lecturer and staff exchange, student exchange, publication and learning material exchange, joint research, training cooperation and other activities. The agreement is valid for 5 years with a self-renewal clause.

Delivering their speeches at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh and President Jisang Yoo expressed their desire to promote the cooperation through specific activities such as organization of language and cultural courses, student exchange, amongst others. Details of the cooperation were discussed by both parties.
