Briefing of the second quarter in 2023 held

On June 14th, 2023, ULIS – VNU held a briefing on tasks of the second quarter in 2023. Dr. Do Tuan Minh, ULIS President chaired the briefing. The briefing was also attended by Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, representatives of departments of the University.

At the briefing, Director of the Personnel Organization Office Duong Quynh Hoa, read the decision to appoint Dr. Do Thi Ngoc Chi the position of Vice Principal of FLSS.

At the meeting, the President presented special awards to outstanding individuals and collectives including students of the University in the past quarter.

Delivering his speech at the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of all the departments in completing their tasks in the second quarter of 2023 with outstanding achievements.

Reports on the performance in the second quarter of 2023 and the plan for the third quarter of 2023 and reports on the implementation of working and training regulations were delivered at the briefing.

Prominent results in the second quarter of 2023:

  • Successfully organized UNC2023’s main day;
  • Actively deployed communication tasks of training programs at all levels;
  • Successfully held F.I.R.E project and a preliminary conference on the University’s Digital Transformation Plan in the period 2020-2025;
  • Implemented the project on renovation of graduate teaching activities and the project on study support for ULIS students.

Crucial tasks in the third quarter of 2023:

  • To enroll regular undergraduate and 2nd group of graduate students in 2023 with sufficient quantity and high quality;
  • To assess innovation projects of all ULIS departments, faculties and offices, and hold a preliminary review of 3 years of implementing the Digital Transformation Plan 2020 – 2025 of the University; to organize the ULIS annual faculty, staff and review conference of the 2022-2023 academic year;
  • To review, adjust and promulgate documents directing and administering the operation of the University; to plan and implement science and technology activities for the academic year 2023-2024;
  • To complete the self-assessment report of 5 pedagogical training programs, including English, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese;
  • To complete the renovation of block A9, 2nd floor of block C3; to start the renovation of blocks A4 and A5.
