On January 9^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU held the “ULIS HOA CA” concert in an online platform.

The event celebrated the 72^nd anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnamese students (January 9^th, 1950 – January 9^th, 2022), the 21^st ULIS Youth Union Congress and also raised funds for the Green Dream Scholarship. The program is also a meaningful gift to students, trainees, staff, lecturers, alumni, former teachers and partners of the university.

Delivering his opening remarks, President Do Tuan Minh emphasized that it was ULIS decision to organize the concert “ULIS HOA CA”, an event that had been long cherished, to mark the 72^nd anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnamese students. Also, the anniversary was commemorated with the launch of 4 new student clubs, including Rugby Club, Young Reasoning Club, Financial Investment Club and Book Club, which added skill-training playgrounds for ULISers in the University’s realization of its experiential learning approach.

At the beginning of the program, the audience watched a video about the 19-year journey of the Green Dream Scholarship. On this occasion, the Scholarship received more than 560 million VND, which will be granted to more than 200 students.

After that, the concert officially began with live performances and recorded music videos from teachers and staff of all departments, partners, students and alumni of the university. All are unique performances, expressing an exciting and very meaningful spirit of ULIS’s youth.
