Cooperation opportunities with Sapporo University and Hokkaido Bunkyo University, Japan

On August 7th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held a meeting with the delegation of Sapporo University and Hokkaido Bunkyo University (Japan) to discuss potential cooperation opportunities.

The meeting was attended by President Do Tuan Minh, Director of the General Administrative Office Nguyen Doan Phuong, Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Language & Culture Dao Thi Nga My and Mrs. Tran Kieu Hue – Vice Dean of the Faculty. From the partner side, Sapporo University Chairman Hiroki Arakawa and Hokkaido Bunkyo University Toshihiro Watanabe and staff attended the meeting.

Delivering his speech at the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh extended his greetings to representatives of the two partner universities. In addition to the appraisal of Japanese education and its humanitarian training philosophy, the President expressed his desire to have more cooperation with Japanese universities. He also introduced ULIS and its Japanese teaching history as well as the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture to representatives of the partner universities. 

He hoped that both Sapporro and Hokkaido Bunkyo universties would cooperate with ULIS-VNU in various forms such as organizing joint training programs, short-term courses for Vietnamese students, or study tours for Japanese students, etc.

The meeting was closed with the anticipation of a potential cooperation of the all sides in the upcoming time.
