On March 6^th, 2019, ULIS-VNU had a meeting with delegates of Moscow State Linguistics University, Russian Federation (MSLU), including President Irina. Arkadievna Kraeva.

The meeting was attended by Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, representative of the Cooperation & Development Office, Management Board and lecturers of the Faculty of Russian Language & Culture.

So far, 4 MSLU Vietnamese language students are studying at ULIS, and one ULIS student is studying at MSLU.

Ms. Irina Arkadievna Kraeva expressed her wish that not only Russian students, but also other faculties of ULIS would also consider opportunities to do internships or study at MSLU. In addition, MSLU wished to receive ULIS support so that it could train a high quality Vietnamese interpreter team to address the serious shortage of manpower in this field in Russia.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy expressed her wish to receive MSLU effective support to further develop the Russian language course at ULIS. ‘ULIS would create best conditions for Russian students to do their internships and participate in courses at ULIS and hoped to have more ULIS students studying at MSLU,’ she said.
