“Couleurs Culturelles 2024”: Exciting Festival of Francophone Cultural Colors
On March 17th, 2024, ULIS-VNU held the festival “Cultural Colors – Couleurs Culturelles” 2024. The event was an annual activity that honors International Francophone Day (March 20th) organized by the Faculty of French Language and Culture in collaboration with partner units with many attractive activities, imbued with the colors of Francophone culture.
In his opening speech, ULIS Council Chairman Do Tuan Minh believed that by joining hands in the spirit of dialogue and sharing, we would help spread the power of French, honor diversity and the cultural beauty of the Francophone community.
At the event, Mr. Olivier Brochet – French Ambassador to Vietnam said that he appreciated the efforts of the Faculty and School in creating a colorful festival with not only ULIS students but also students nationwide.
One activity considered to be the highlight of this year’s Cultural Colors Festival was the launch of the Webtoon comic book series – a joint project carried out by the French Embassy and the Faculty of French Language and Culture along with the companion unit POPS Comic. The project was conceptualized by students of the Faculty of French Language and Culture to build characters and storylines to promote the teaching and learning of French, so that young people can better understand the opportunities that open up when learning French.
Besides the welcome program in the hall, other interesting activities also took place.
