Delegation from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Visits Military Forces and Residents of the Truong Sa Archipelago and DK-I Platform
From April 5 to April 14, 2025, a delegation of 23 staff members from the University of Languages and International Studies, led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Long, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, joined the working delegation of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on a visit and mission to the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago and the DK-I Platform.

The visit took place on the occasion of the entire Party, military, and people commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, as well as the liberation of the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago (1975–2025), and in anticipation of the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025). This was Working Delegation No. 8, led by Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan, Commander of Naval Region 3.

The delegation from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited and held working sessions with military personnel and residents on six islands—Song Tu Tay, Da Thi, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Da Tay C, and Truong Sa—as well as the DK-I Platform.

At each site, the delegation received briefings and offered heartfelt encouragement and meaningful gifts, affirming the bond between the homeland and the frontline. The delegation joined memorial ceremonies at Gac Ma and Truong Sa Lon—solemn moments that evoked deep pride and responsibility.






The visit was a success, deepening patriotism and gratitude for sacrifices in defending national sovereignty.
