On September 11^th, 2023, the ULIS University Council passed Resolution No. 2099/NQ-HDT on the appointment of leadership and management personnel. Accordingly, Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son was appointed ULIS Vice President for the 2023-2028 term.

Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son was born on April 1^st, 1977. He is a former FLSS student. In 2005, when turning 28, he completed the PhD program in modern Chinese at Nanjing Normal University (China) and returned Vietnam to work at ULIS – VNU.

Before being appointed as Vice President, he held leadership positions (such as Director of the Center for International Education, Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development) and made many contributions in developing international partnership training programs, in-service programs, local projects and cooperative activities with the National Foreign Language Project.
