On October 8th, 2024, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS-VNU) held the ceremony of receiving books from the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, President Nguyen Xuan Long extended his thanks to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt for presenting a number of books and publications in Arabic language as a gift from the Egyptian government for ULIS. Ph.D Nguyen Xuan Long also expressed his continued desire to receive long-term support and cooperation from the Ambassador.

In response, Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt Amal Salama affirmed that the Embassy would continue to support activities of the University as well as the Division of Arabic Language and Culture in the future.

In the ceremony, on behalf of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ms. Amal Salama  gifted ULIS 49 books in various fields including literature, history, culture and language. President Nguyen Xuan Long on behalf of the University received these books.
